The Make Way For Doodles Way!
Make Way For Doodles is located near beautiful
Narragansett Bay in Southern Rhode Island.  We are
approximately 30 minutes South of Providence and
an hour and a half South of Boston.

I breed Standard Goldendoodles which range from
46 to 85 pounds when full grown, multi-generational, and f1b or backcross doodles, f1b labradoodles, goldendordoodles (awesome!), and Mini/Midi (medium or “moyenne”) doodles which range from 25 to 35 to 50 pounds when full grown, depending on shorter or taller legs within a litter, both perfectly normal.

( As we see in purebred poodle lines with overlapping size ranges between giant, standard, miniature, and toy, so also do size variations from poodles carry over into doodles.  Sizes in living things, are not carved in stone, and human intelligence should not demand or expect this, as we see in our own human condition regarding size issues.  As a breeder, I try to make best judgments, but one can be surprised, so be prepared to love a pet, as you would a child, you hopefully would not love less, if a little smaller or larger than the dream doodle in your mind’s eye. )

By the way, I also breed lovely, quality, champion line Ragdoll kittens, that think they are doodles and vice versa, and make wonderful companions for puppies and families also!  They are very tame, gentle, indoor, snuggling pets, but now back to our doodles...

Each of my parent purebred dogs are OFA hip tested
and CERF approved and all of my parent
Goldendoodles as well as other tests.  I am a responsible breeder
who is concerned about keeping the genetic future of
Doodles healthy and happy.

When the magical moment of delivery arrives, the
mom gives birth in a specially designed birthing bed
placed beside my bed so that I can be there to
comfort her and assist if necessary.  The pups spend
their first few weeks here with their mom under my
constant supervision.

After 3 weeks, they move out of my bedroom and
into the puppy area where they romp, play and get
visited by their canine “Aunts and Uncles” or my grandsons.  I spend many hours with the puppies and get to know each puppy’s
personality to help match them with their new
parents.

The Puppy Picnic -
When the puppies are 8 weeks old and ready to go to
their new homes, I schedule pickup times so that the
new parents get time to meet and play with the
puppies before choosing the one that fits them the
best.  I will help with suggestions but I never assign
puppies to parents.
I do not ship puppies because I
believe it can sometimes be too traumatic and dangerous an ordeal to put such young puppies through.  I sometimes am able/happy to
make reasonable arrangements to meet parents
traveling long distances.

Health Guarantees -
All puppies are health checked by a veterinarian and
receive their first set of shots.  I guarantee the genetic
health of my pups for 2 years and will reimburse the
owner up to the cost of the puppy or offer a
replacement pup.

Early Spaying/Neutering -
I do not spay or neuter my pups as I feel that this
procedure is still up to debate in the long and short term as to health risks and issues to young puppies and is better left until they are 5-6 months old.  It is mandatory that you spay or neuter your
puppy, I do not provide breeding rights for any of
my dogs.

ALSO, ANY OTHER CONTRACT INCLUDING
THE ORIGINAL BILL OF SALE AND ANY
HEALTH WARRANTIES ARE VOID UNLESS THE
PUP IS SPAYED OR NEUTERED.  ANY
ILLEGITIMATE OFFSPRING BECOME THE
PROPERTY OF MAKE WAY FOR DOODLES.
